Under general supervision, this position is responsible for selling the Companyâ€™s products and services and assisting customers with their product needs. They provide an exemplary customer experience by asking the customer questions to determine their needs and engaging the customer with their product knowledge, suggestive selling items for the customerâ€™s immediate needs and recommending additional items and/or services that will complement the customersâ€™ shopping experience. They handle returns of merchandise and store merchandising, stocking and maintenance activities. They assist the store in achieving itsâ€™ daily, monthly and annual sales and service goals. They will perform related work as required. This position reports to the Store/General Manager.
II. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Acknowledge and greet customers. 2. Engage the customer through conversation. Determine the customerâ€™s needs. 3. Provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values and benefits of each product. 4. Suggestively sell additional items and services that the customer may not have anticipated they will need. 5. Handle returns/complaints graciously and effectively. 6. Work with associates to achieve the storeâ€™s sales plan. Strive to achieve individual sales plan. 7. Actively participate in all programs and procedures that drive sales. 8. Treat associates, customers and vendors better than they expect. 9. Correctly handle all register transactions. 10. Work with other store associates to achieve a high Customer Service rating through excellent customer service, product knowledge and follow through. 11. Ensure the store is neat, clean and organized throughout each business day. 12. Know where products are located within the store. 13. Be aware of current promotional items and the correct pricing. 14. Work with fellow associates to maintain that Asset Protection standards are met all the time. 15. Participate in store opening and store closing duties. 16. Performs related duties as required.
III. Job Requirements:
â€¢ Candidate must possess at least a Bachelorâ€™s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent. â€¢ At least 2 years of related work experience. â€¢ Above average know-how in data analysis. â€¢ Strong and confident communicator (oral and written). â€¢ Computer Literate. â€¢ Can work under pressure and flexible in terms of working schedules. â€¢ Willing to be based in any of the following areas: Makati, BGC or Ortigas Center.
